Welcome to Rebound Hospitality
Rebound Hospitality was officially formed in 2008 as one of the first verticals in the Rebound Partners portfolio. Principal Brett Reese purchased the Archer House Inn in 1995 with a group of local community investors. Presently he is the current owner. To refresh and professionalize the property, Todd Byhre was hired as the COO of Rebound Hospitality. Together with the support of Co-Founders Jennifer Sawyer and Bill Cowles they embarked on a three-year renovation to return the Archer House to its grand old inn status.
From there the historic Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah, IA was added to the Rebound Hospitality portfolio, followed by the Des Lux Hotel in downtown Des Moines, IA. In 2019, a historic tax credit project resulted in the renovation of the Exchange Building into the Celeste of St. Paul | Hotel + Bar in downtown St. Paul, MN. There has also been the development of two new Fairfield by Marriott hotels in Northfield, MN and Decorah, IA to round out our current portfolio. With plans for future development and acquisition, Rebound Hospitality looks forward to continuing its mission to preserve and enhance hotels and inns of distinction along with branded hotels in market driven communities.
